QuestForge – Account & Data Deletion Policy

Delete Profile Data Only (Keep Account Active)

You may choose to delete only your in-app profile, quests, and progress while keeping your account login active. This option allows you to reset your game without losing access to your account.

In-app steps:

1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Select Delete My Profile Data.
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This will remove:
• Profile information
• Quest history and progress
• Gameplay-related data and preferences

Your authentication account (login credentials) will remain active so you can continue using the app.

Delete Entire Account & All Data (Full Deletion)

This option permanently deletes your entire account, including your authentication credentials and all associated data. This process is irreversible.

In-app steps:

1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Select Wipe Everything (account info).
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This will:
• Permanently delete your account information and login
• Remove all profile and gameplay data
• Remove your username and identifiers from our database
• Immediately revoke your access to the app

Alternative Deletion Request (Email Option)

If you cannot access the app, you may submit a deletion request via email.

To request deletion:

• Email: questforged@gmail.com
• Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
• Include your registered email or username so we can verify your identity.

Your request will be processed within 7 days.

Data That Will Be Deleted

• Account information (email, username)
• Profile and character data
• Quest progress and gameplay history
• Supporter/subscription status (if applicable)

Data Retention Policy

No personal data is retained once your account or profile is deleted.

In cases involving purchases, anonymized transactional records may be retained for tax or legal compliance only and are not associated with your identity.
